We live in France and I pay tax on my UK Teacher’s pension in UK. My wife does not yet have a pension and so pays no UK tax. Can we use her allowance to offset the tax I pay?
Your wife can transfer some of her personal allowance to you under the Marriage Allowance Rules, see here for more details:
The rules allow your wife to transfer £1,150 of her Personal Allowance to you if they earn more than you.
