CheapAccounting is revolutionising the way in which small businesses manage their financial affairs

Since its launch in May 2007 CheapAccounting has expanded at a fantastic rate and is one of the fastest growing online accounting practices in the UK.

We are looking for:

What CheapAccounting is:

Top 5 Progressive Practice of 2010!

A network of fully qualified Accountants working under licence to use the CheapAccounting brand.

A 21st century accounting Practice!

What CheapAccounting is NOT:

A subcontract opportunity.

Something that can be done in addition to a full time job!

What CheapAccounting Can Offer An Associate

Each Associate will be given the structure and support to develop their own accounting practice, operating under the CheapAccounting brand and leveraging that national brand awareness.

The wider Network also lends its support in terms of the knowledge and skills available from its qualified Accountant base.

In line with the Company's ethos, Associates can manage their business to fit in with their family commitments and chosen lifestyle and so achieve their desired work - life balance.

Growth targets for each practice are not set. So Associates can develop their business at their desired rate, choosing to have as little or as many clients as they wish, to fit in with their individual expectations.

The proof

Steve Kettle became a CheapAccounting.co.uk Associate in May 2009. Within a year he had built up an impressive portfolio well in excess of 100 clients, opened an office and started to recruit staff to continue his expansion.

Steve says:

The rapid expansion of my accountancy practice has been down to the referrals generated through the CheapAccounting web site. In fact new clients have been referring me onto their colleagues, business associates, friends and families.

Being part of the CheapAccounting network has enabled me to build a successful practice with little risk, up front investment or a huge marketing budget.

Deciding to become a CheapAccounting Associate is probably one of the best decisions I have made!

FAQs

Do I need to be qualified?

Yes, you must be a qualified accountant with current membership of the following accounting bodies or an international equivalent:

You will be expected to have or be able to obtain a practicing certificate and you must be able to practice under the rules of your Institute.

Is it a Franchise?

As a CheapAccounting.co.uk accountant you will operate under licence using the CheapAccounting.co.uk brand to grow your own Practice.

Who owns the clients?

The clients are owned by your Practice.

Can I sell the Practice?

Yes - subject to approval and the buyer meeting the same criteria as a new Associate joining CheapAccounting.co.uk.

How do I get new clients?

On a daily basis we receive new client referrals to our main web site. These are fairly distributed out to the Associate Network. In addition you would be expected to market your own Practice and gain new clients through the leveraging of the CheapAccounting.co.uk Brand.

To date most of our Associates have undertaken limited marketing themselves and have grown their Practices purely on the client referrals received through the CheapAccounting.co.uk web site.

How much does it cost?

For the experienced Practice Accountant there is an initial Licence fee of £4,999.

Qualified accountants who have less than one year of Practice experience would join under our Mentoring Programme at an initial fee in of £6,999.

Thereafter fees are charged each quarter at a rate of 10% of gross fees earned.

Vat is applied to all charges.

These prices are valid until 31 December 2010.

Why should I pay to become an Associate?

We believe that you will not be disappointed with the return on your investment. Compare the start up costs of a new Practice to our initial costs and what you get for your investment:

How much can I earn?

Well as an accountant and given the visibility of the fees on the web site then you should be able to work up a business plan for your Practice! We would not insult your intelligence by providing this for you.

Remember though - building a business does require hard work. The more you put in the better the results!

What is the Mentoring Programme?

If you have less than one year of experience in Practice we would bring you in under the mentoring programme.

You would be assigned to one of our experienced qualified Accountants who would be available for a period of up to six months to provide guidance, help, and reviews on all aspects of Practice operation, tax and accounts.

In fact anything you need to help you get your Practice off the ground and quickly build it into a profitable business.

Can I work at the same time?

We have found that it is impossible to run a successful CheapAccounting.co.uk Practice alongside a full time job and in fact we do not offer this as an option.

Building and operating a successful practice requires a level of commitment that cannot be achieved over and above a full time role.

You can of course operate the Practice on a part time basis alongside another part time role.

I have my own Practice - what do I do about existing clients?

When you come on board you can ring fence your existing clients. Going forward all new clients will be under your CheapAccounting.co.uk Practice.

You cannot operate an existing Practice alongside the CheapAccounting.co.uk Practice as we expect all Associates to be fully committed to the Brand.

How do I find out more?

You will need to sign a confidentiality agreement and complete an Associate application form.

the confidentiality agreement and application

The form will take a couple of seconds to load

So please be patient.

These should be returned to Elaine.Clark@CheapAccounting.co.uk
