These days it is so easy for anyone to set up a web site and offer accountancy services to the whole of the country or even the world. So it is essential that you know just who you are dealing with.
We want to make sure that you know who we are and how we work.
All of our accountants are:
- Fully Qualified being members of one of the ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT, ICAS, ICAI professional bodies
- Hold a Practising Certificate to show that they have the experience to deal with your accounts and taxation
- Have professional Indemnity Insurance
- Comply with our Operational Guidelines and are regularly checked against our Quality Assurance Standards
You will always be allocated to a named accountant and they will be your main point of contact.
We will give you their direct contact details - phone, email and UK address.
If they are away they will tell you who to contact in their absence.
And if anything were to go wrong we do have a complaints procedure, although this is little used.
We have worked hard since we formed in 2007 to build our credibility and credentials as a firm of professional, UK based qualified accountants.

About Elaine
Having over 20 years of accounting and IT experience, in 2007 Chartered Accountant Elaine gave up her blue chip past to launch CheapAccounting.co.uk
In 2009 Elaine capitalised on the rapid growth of the brand and developed the franchise arm of the business.
She is described as a 'thought leader within the industry and a trusted adviser' and is widely recognised as a trail blazer in the use of social media within Accountancy.
Her success is echoed by other firms that are now emulating her business model.

Making a debut appearance at number 34 in the Accountancy Age Financial Power List 2012: The big players, Elaine was above the Head of Lloyds, The Bank of England, The Minister responsible for HMRC and the CEO of Elaine's professional body, the ICAEW.

Winner of the Woman in Finance Award, Network of Aspiring Women
Elaine Clark, Managing Director of CheapAccounting.co.uk has won the Woman in Finance category of the Network of Aspiring Women Awards. Selected from over 200 nominations, it is a huge achievement beating off stiff competition from some of the UK's leading women.
The Annual Awards hosted by the Network of Aspiring Women have been organised to celebrate the successes of women nationally. The event itself is all about helping women connect to do business together and inspire them to go higher in their chosen profession.
