We get many enquiries from people who are considering franchising as an option for their accountancy practice – some join us, others seem to disappear without another word. I’d loved to know why.
Clearly I think everyone who is serious about running an accountancy practice and who meets our criteria should come on board with us – why not give yourself a brilliant chance to rapidly build a successful accountancy practice?
Of course there is an outlay involved – there is no such thing as a “free lunch” in business. But you’ll get a fabulous return on your investment if you are prepared to work at it and grab the opportunity.
I can say that with complete confidence and can show you why … Let’s take Genny who joined us on 1 August this year; just 8 weeks ago. I’ve just had a look at her stats.
In the short time she has been with us she has received 60 new client enquiries.
Only 20% of those have said no to becoming her client and she is still working on 42% to try to convert.
That means in just 8 weeks she has acquired 23 new clients. Of course these all vary in size but if we worked on a fair average of £38.50 a month she has acquired clients to bring in fee income of more than £10, 000 p.a. for an initial outlay of just £6, 999. That’s not bad going and I don’t think Genny will mind me saying that there is nothing special about her ability to do this – you could do exactly the same.
