Personally, I thought the opening ceremony of the [name of the biggest sporting event in the UK]* really put Great Britain on the world map again as a nation on the Boyle!
It was full of content
Had something for everyone
Was an organisational masterpiece
Demonstrated our world class logistical expertise
It was innovative, creative and unique
You may not have liked it all but I think even the hardest of hearts would have found it difficult not to like something about it.
The overriding think that I took away from the event was that the eyes of the world are on Great Britain right now – billions are watching this event around the world.
